Where do I even begin?! When Luke and Julia asked if I would be their wedding photographer, I was so excited! I’ve known Luke my whole life … as he is my cousin. I only have 2 cousins on my mom’s side (the rest live in Wales on my dad’s side), so photographing this wedding was very special! It was held in Brighton at the lovely Timber House Resort, during the last weekend of summer, 2019. It was such a warm, sunny day. We spent the whole day at the resort, from getting ready, to ceremony, to reception. Julia’s stepfather built the arch for their ceremony and you can see below how pretty it is. The sun was glistening down on the arch between the beautiful bride and groom.
While the sun was setting, the light was shining through the trees perfectly for bride and groom pictures! Julia looked stunning and her wedding dress was breath taking. After all the pictures were captured, we headed into the reception. It was so fun being the photographer at a wedding where I was surrounded by family and friends. I loved listening to those heart felt speeches, capturing the first dances and watching everyone tear it up, especially Luke’s 85 year old Oma who stole the show on the dance floor!
Thank you so much to my wonderful cousin Luke and his gorgeous wife Julia for letting me capture their special day. It will be a day I will never forget <3
